Digipak analysis: The Kooks: Inside In/Inside Out

The Kooks are an Indie/Rock band and this can be told through the consistent colours on this Digipak. The colours red and black usually connotate a rock type vibe reinforcing their genre. The band faces aren't really shown on the front of the Digipak cover as they are merely focused more on the instruments that they are playing, proving that they are a serious and hard working band.
As a group, we have decided that we don't think that we want them holding/playing instruments as we want to focus more on their emotions when they look into the camera. We want them to be looking serious, but still look like they are having fun. 
However, in terms of colours, we are going to stick to the more neutral colours and keep it quite plain and ordinary as we want to keep the genre of the band quite recognizable, as well as the fact that we don't want to have an overpowering colour that will ruin it.
