21 Pilots- Blurryface Digipak Analysis

Image result for 21 pilots digipakHere is the digipak of 21 Pilots studio album 'Blurryface'.

The front cover has a very simple design by having the band title at the top in a simple white font and matching colour at the bottom with the album title 'Blurryface'. However as their trademark they has dashes in the 'O's at the band name and having them connected. Especially on a black background it stands out more. They also have a line through the album title, most likely for artistic decisions.

Now looking at the cover design, it features 9 circles which all have different patterns with the  use line work except for one with the use of small dots. The majority are black and white creating a strong contrast with the album base colour being black. The other colour is red in the patterns which are the colour scheme with this album specifically.

Then Looking at the inside of the front cover we can see the panel with a similar pattern as the front cover having a consistent theme however it doesn't feature the patterns in the panel. So it could represent the roughness of the album compared to the front cover where it's polished and have a pretty design. As when looking at the shape of the sections that resemble the front cover but not a perfect circle.

Moving on to the CD, it has a black background with red and with markings which resemble the lines going through the title and band name. Still sticking the colour scheme of red, black and white which are bold colours but they complement each other making the design satisfying.

Looking at the back cover of the album we can see they kept the use of diagonal lines which was used on the bands name on the front cover. So they kept it consistent to make it look polished. When looking at the back cover in finer detail we can see the lines go through the 'O's which shows of their trademark for their branding.
