Marina and The Diamonds- The Family Jewels Digipak Analysis

Here is the digipak of the debut album 'The Family Jewels' by Marina and The Diamonds. 

Starting with the album cover(top left), we can see that the title is in a white bold font so it can stand out against the background which is green with purple flowers. Also with the title being shaped around Marina's face so we can see her face connecting to the costumer who is buying the product. That the colour of the title also stands out against her hair and the font so it's complementing each component.

Then moving to the CD(top right), we see that it contains the same font from the album cover. Unlike the background on the cover, the CD is a sleek silver which the the complete opposite of the cover where it had patterns and colour. 

Moving to the inside of the case(bottom left), there is a picture of Marina in black and white to match the CD, with the use of grey scale compared to the covers that have colour to appeal to costumers. However it's serious on the inside and taking her career seriously.

The Final section is the back cover of the album(bottom right) with another picture of Marina but back in colour. With the same font in white matching with the album front cover, still shaping around Marina superimposed on her hair which is a dark brown so it stands out and that we can read the track list.
